Data Deletion Request

1. Requesting Deletion

You can request account deletion directly inside the DaamDekhi app. Sign in, open the account menu from the profile/avatar button, and tap Delete Account.

If you need urgent help with deletion, or if you are using the website and do not have access to the in-app delete option, email contact@daamdekhi.com from your account email address and mention that you want your DaamDekhi account data deleted.

2. Deletion Grace Period

Account deletion is not immediate. After you request deletion, your account enters a 72-hour pending-deletion period so you have time to change your mind.

3. Canceling a Pending Deletion

During the pending-deletion period, sign back into the DaamDekhi app, open the same account menu, and tap Cancel Account Deletion. Once the grace period ends, the deletion is processed automatically.

4. What We Delete

• Account profile details (such as name and email).
• Stored wishlist and associated account-linked preferences.
• Stored cart items associated with the account.
• Device-token mappings used for push notifications.

5. What May Be Retained

We may retain limited records required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, and operational audit obligations for the minimum period required by law.

6. Processing Time

Once the grace period ends, final deletion is processed during our daily deletion run at approximately 03:00 UTC.

7. Local Device Data

Data stored locally in your browser/app (for example cart or cached session data) can also be removed directly by clearing app/browser storage on your device.
